Natural Marseille Lavender Soap

All of our soaps are handmade in Le Chatelard’s workshops in Provence, France.

Thanks to their neutral pH, they’re gentle on the skin and won’t cause dryness. Instead, they hydrate deeply and leave your skin soft and smooth.

Each soap is delicately scented with flowers, fruits, and other natural ingredients. They create a rich lather that cleanses, nourishes, and perfumes your skin.

The recipe is 100% natural and follows a traditional method. Sea water from the Mediterranean is mixed with olive oil, other vegetable oils, soda ash, and lye. The blend is slowly heated and stirred for days in a large cauldron.

Once ready, it’s poured into molds, cut into bars, stamped, and left to harden — a process that can take up to a month.
