White Sage Smudge Stick
Our dried white sage bundles (Salvia apiana) are the perfect choice for smudging rituals, blessings, energy, and spiritual cleansing. Native American cultures spanning from Canada to Argentina have been practicing smudging for thousands of years as a cleansing. Blessing, and spiritual ritual. Smudging involves the burning of sacred herbs or resins and using the smoke to cleanse or bless a person, place or thing.
HOW TO USE | Hold the sage bundle on one end, and using a match or lighter. Once lit, let the bundle burn for about 10 seconds. Gently blow out the flame, and the smouldering herb should leave a trail of smoke. Waft the smoke gently on any surface you wish to cleanse, bless, or rid of negative energy. Always have a fire-proof receptacle or Abalone shell with some white sand in it to put out the bundle as required.
